“Global Effective Partnership in Human Resource Education, Learning Development in Nuclear Energy”. Round Table Discussion during ATOMEXPO-2014.

The 6-th International ATOMEXPO-2014 Nuclear Energy Forum is competed in Moscow on 11-th of June, 2014.

In the framework of the 6-th International ATOMEXPO-2014 Forum discussions the heads of Russian and international nuclear industry companies discussed conditions for further nuclear industry development and nuclear energy competitiveness a necessary prerequisite for future energy sustainability.

In the context of Atomexpo-2014 the round table discussion was organized entitled as  “Global Effective Partnership in Human Resource Education, Learning Development in Nuclear Energy”.  The key topic for this round-table was international cooperation development in this area.

In a framework of this discussion the following topics were touched upon:  global trends and strategic objectives in the area of nuclear workforce development, higher professional education, personnel involvement and development, qualification upgradein the nuclear energy sector.

Ms. Tatiana Terentieva, HR Director of State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” chaired the discussion and Prof. Vladimir Artisyuk, Director of Dpt of International Cooperation, ROSATOM CICET&T acted as facilitator.

Prof. Oleg Nagornov (Vice-REctor of National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”), Dr. Syahril (Science&Technolology Attache in the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Permanent Mission to the UN organizations in Vienna), Prof.Valery Karezin (project director of Rosatom HRD Department), Prof. Sergey Barbashev (Odessa National Polytechnic University), Prof.Victor Anishchik (Belarusian State University), Mr.Dmitry Gasten (Head of Rosatom HR Policy Department), Dr. Andrey Afonin (Director of Rosatom Corporate Academy) as well as representatives from foreign universities and training centres: Dr. Atilla Aszodi (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary), Dr. Şenem Şentürk Lüle (Istanbul Technical University, Turkey), Dr. Trinh Quang Thong (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam), Mr. Vincent Nkong Njock (IAEA), Mr. Hannu Nieminen, Mr. Ilja Ouretski (Adult Education and Working Life Services Salpaus Further Education, Finland), Engr. Md. Ali Zulquarnain (Member (Planning) Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission), Mr. Peter T. Mkhabela (Functional Coordinator: Design Safety, National Nuclear Regulator, South   Africa),Mr. Yanko Yanev (Managing Director, Nuclear Knowledge Management Institute, Austria), – also actively participated in this discussion.
