Delegation from ROSATOM-CICE&T participated in the Workshop on Systematic Approach to Training Methodology in Tarragona (Spain)

On October 10-14, 2016 specialists of International Training Center and the Head of Training Center “SAT” from ROSATOM-CICE&T participated in the Workshop on Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) Methodology provided by TECNATOM in the Training Center in Tarragona (Spain) within the ENEN-Ru II project “Strengthening of Cooperation and Exchange for Nuclear Education and Training between the European Union and the Russian Federation”. Both the ROSATOM-CICE&T and TECNATOM use the SAT methodology and tools in developing and maintaining their training environments. The Workshop was aimed at the harmonization of Training Methodology in developing performance-based training for meeting nuclear plant job qualification requirements in view of the MoU signed between TECNATOM, ROSATOM-CICE&T and RUSAS in June 2016.

As marked by Francisco J. Gonzalez Añez the Head of International Training Center on Safety, Operation and Training Services the SAT methodology is the basis that TECNATOM uses in order to guarantee that their services ensure the highest levels of quality and are duly updated.  TECNATOM provides training services in the nuclear, thermal and renewable energies sectors and the petrochemical, industrial and aerospace industries. They also maintain close relations with international organizations that are a reference in the training area.

During the workshop the participants had an opportunity to participate in team work with future discussion of SAT Methodology for the optimization of training programmes available in TECNATOM and ROSATOM-CICE&T in terms of R&D works conduction, personnel education and training for nuclear science and technology to support nuclear infrastructure development to form a sustainable nuclear energy system.
