The target programme of personnel training was established in 2016 to raise the awareness of employees of State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” and its enterprises of the specifics of working in international organizations in the field of nuclear energy.
At the end of January, the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” together with Rosatom Technical Academy held a seminar for human resources departments of Russian nuclear industry organizations to inform the launch of new recruitment of candidates to form a pool of experts for work in international organizations.
Deputy Director of International Relations and Director of Department of International Cooperation of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” Ms Marina Belyaeva made a welcoming speech. In her address, she emphasized the importance of this programme since the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” is interested in Russian experts demonstrating the best domestic practices abroad, as well as gaining experience working in international organizations in order to return to Russia and continue their work at home after the end of their contracts.
As part of the seminar programme, Counsellor to Rosatom’s Director General, Vladimir Artisyuk described the particularities of promoting interests of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” through the international platforms. On behalf of the Rosatom Technical Academy, Director of the Center for International Cooperation Viktor Mazepov provided detailed information on the stages of formation of the pool of experts which include primary selection, independent assessment, development of individual plans for personnel training, further monitoring of applications for open vacancies in international organizations and presented the results of the programme for 2016-2021.
Since 2016, Rosatom Technical Academy has annually conducted a multi-stage selection of candidates to form the pool of experts of international organizations and has trained candidates in personal development programmes. At the moment, 182 people are in the pool, 20 experts have been employed in international organizations.
