The first surveillance audit for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 was successfully completed at the Technical Academy on 3 December. The audit by the certifying body DQS Holding GmbH was completed within five days and included interviewing employees of the head office of the Technical Academy in Obninsk and the Novovoronezh branch, the process owners and their team. No discrepancies were identified as a result of the audit. During the audit, Academy employees demonstrated risk-oriented thinking at various management levels as a flexible approach to respond to potential problems that may arise in the Academy and its management system.
At the final meeting, the auditor highlighted the strengths, dynamic growth and development of the Technical Academy and made a number of recommendations for further improvement of the management system.
The audit results validate the international certification of the Technical Academy as a reliable provider of quality training and consultancy services, including those in the international marketplace.
As an ISO 9001:2015 certificate holder, Rosatom Technical Academy is recertified every three years to confirm compliance with the requirements of the standard, as well as an annual inspection audit, which is a random verification of compliance with the requirements. DQS is accredited by the unified German system DAkkS, which has been a member of the mutual recognition agreement for ISO 9001 certificates since 1998.
