Rosatom Technical Academy Management’s Statement on Safety Culture Policy    

Safety Culture at Rosatom Technical Academy:

Rosatom Tech has the Safety Culture Council meant to create the conditions required for continuous improvement of safety culture, the atmosphere of trust and openness when considering the safety-related issues.Self-assessment of the safety condition is systematically carried out at Rosatom Tech in order to identify areas to be improved and for further planning of activities related to the safety culture improvement at Rosatom Tech.
Safety Culture Ambassadors have been appointed at the structural units of Rosatom Tech from among the employees of Rosatom Tech, so that to assist the Rosatom Tech management to foster the safety culture among the employees.The Academy has developed a response system consisting of a mailbox for letters and an electronic system of letters..

In order to foster, maintain, and develop the safety culture among the personnel of ROSATOM’s enterprises and organizations, the Academy established the Competencies Centre for Safety Culture and Human Factor Reliability (CC SC&HFR). According to Order of ROSATOM State Corporation dated February 19, 2019 No. 1/167-P “On Approving the Regulation on the Safety Management System for the Use of Nuclear Energy in ROSATOM State Corporation and in the Organizations of ROSATOM State Corporation”, the Competencies Centre for Safety Culture and Human Factor Reliability is entrusted with the function of a targeted scientific, methodological, and expert support for activities in the safety culture.
