Last week the series of seven courses on the personnel education and training for nuclear infrastructure (NI) development issues has been completed at the ROSATOM-CICE&T. This series of courses was considered as a pilot training for Top and Middle level managers of the national nuclear authorities of the newcomer countries and was delivered to support the cooperation in the field of personnel E&T for national NI of the Republic of Belarus.
The last (7-th) course of that series has been devoted to the emergency preparedness and response issues. This course was attended by representatives of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, Gosatomnadzor, the Ministry of Health and the State Scientific Institution “The Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research – SOSNY” of the Republic of Belarus. As the instructors for the course, specialists of the ROSATOM-CICE&T, experts of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” and the Minatom ERC of the SC “Rosatom” in the field of emergency preparedness and response and personnel education for NI development have been invited.
As an entity these courses were developed in 2015 through the contract of the Project Office for Nuclear Infrastructure of JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom” as a part of the portfolio of courses on all nuclear infrastructure issues in accordance with the IAEA Milestone approach and they comprise a part of the Integrated Offer of the State Corporation Rosatom in the field of personnel education and training for newcomer countries.
