On April 16-27 the Rosatom Technical Academy conducts the IAEA two-weeks Regional Training Course “Environmental Remediation Project Planning and Management”. The course is held in the framework of the IAEA TC Regional Project «Supporting Human Resource Capacity Building for Developing and Implementing Integrated Programmes for Remediation of the Areas Affected by Uranium Mining», 2016-2019 (hereinafter – the Project). The course will be attended by specialists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The course is aimed at developing competencies for project management and rehabilitation programs for former uranium production facilities to ensure the implementation of the Interstate Target Program “Reclamation of Territories of States Exposed to Uranium Mining Industries” jointly with the IAEA within the framework of the Project.
Financing of the regional training course is carried out within the framework of the State contract between the SAEC “Rosatom” and Rosatom Technical Academy.
Financing of the regional training course in 2018 is performed by the ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation.
