The Strategic Session was organized by JSC “Rusatom Service” in Moscow Branch of ROSATOM-CICE&T on March 9, 2016 with the focus on business approaches to NPP personnel training.
In the framework of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” programme implementation on attributing to the JSC “Rusatom Service” a role of a single entry point for contracting the personnel training for foreign customer, the task for the Strategic Session was set as “…to ensure setting-up the business goals for organizations/units of the State Corporation “Rosatom” in developing the new business in 2016, including the list of planned contracts, portfolio of training course and revenues”.
The organizers invited the participation of the top managers of the companies involved in the international training activities: the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom “, JSC “Rusatom Overseas Inc”, JSC “Rusatom Energo International “, JSC Concern “Rosenergoatom”, , Rosatom Corporate Academy, JSC “VNIIAES”, JSC “Atomtechenergo” and ROSATOM-CICE&T which was represented by Rector Dr.Iurii SELEZNEV and Prof.Vladimir ARTISIUK.
In the course of the Strategic Session participants were divided into 3 topic groups to elaborate on specific issues of:
- General managerial tools and mechanisms to support international training activities;
- Personnel training for NPPs-under-construction in newcomer countries;
- Vocational training offers for international customers.
The work in the group on vocational training was contributed by the CEO of JSC “Rusatom Service” Mr. Evgeny SALKOV and was moderated by Prof. Vladimir ARTISIUK.
The main outcome of the Strategy Session was setting up the network between various stakeholders involved in professional training and identify short-term action plan for the development of personnel training as a business for 2016.
