Training Course on ‘Management of Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel’ for Newcomer Countries

On August, 08-12 in ROSATOM-CICE&T a multinational group of specialists from  the Republican Unitary Enterprise ‘Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant’ (Republic of Belarus) and ‘NAC ‘Kazatomprom’ JSC (Republic of Kazakhstan)  attended the training course on ‘Management of Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel’ organized in ROSATOM-CICE&T through the contract with Project Office on Nuclear Infrastructure of JSC ‘Concern Rosenergoatom’.

The course was delivered by internationally renowned expert Dr. Tatiana MAKARCHUK (Ph.D. in Technical Sciences) with long experience in the field of radiowaste and spent fuel management in the State Atomic Energy Corporation ‘Rosatom’. Currently she is a Deputy Chief Engineer of AKKUYU NUCLEAR JSC – the company responsible for the NPP to be constructed in Turkish Republic. This brings significant added value to the course since the expert unites both the experience of vendor and expectation of newly established operating organizations in newcomer country.
