In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between ROSATOM-CICE&T (Russia) and TÜV SÜD (Germany) and at the invitation of the German side, the training course “Specifics of AES-2006 Design: Safety Issues” was arranged and held in Munich (Germany).
The course programme was implemented as 40-hour training, including the final examination. The following reports were presented in accordance with the course schedule:
- Description of VVER Technology Considering Specifics of AES-2006 Design: Reactor and Turbine Sections, Auxiliary Installations, Automated Process Control Systems and Electrical Equipment of the NPP.
- AES-2006 Generation III+ and IV Safety Issues.
- Specifics of Licensing and Conformity Assessment NPPs of Russian Design.
The staff experts of ROSATOM-CICE&T (Evgeny Polev and Denis Podoliakin), JSC “VPO “ZARUBEZHATOMENERGOSTROY” (Alexey Bochkov) and JSC “RASU” (Georgy Melkov) were the instructors.
The training was attended by representatives of various departments and branches of TÜV SÜD (Germany) and STUK (Finland).
