On May 14 in Sochi, on the sidelines of the X International Forum ATOMEXPO-2018, a cooperation agreement was signed between Rosatom Technical Academy (Rosatom Tech) and Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev (NNSTU).
Yurii Seleznev, rector of the Rosatom Tech, and Sergey Dmitriev, rector of the NNSTU have put their signatures on the document.
“Cooperation with NNSTU has two important goals that ensure the timely development of national human resources in the countries of Rosatom’s presence: accelerated training of specialists for Russian-designed NPPs constructed abroad, and support for the development of national nuclear education systems,” said Yurii Seleznev.
The purpose of the signed agreement is to create the basis for joint activities in education and training NPPs of Russian design constructed abroad through the development of a pool of English-speaking instructors, accelerated training of replacement personnel for Russian nuclear power plants, and export of educational programs to partner countries.
“For NNSTU, cooperation with Rosatom Technical Academy is a new step in cooperation with “Rosatom” State Corporation, as well as the opportunity to enter a large platform of international educational projects working to ensure the global expansion of Russian education and nuclear technology,” shared Sergey Dmitriev, Rector of NNSTU.
