On 5-7 March 2015, the Aalte University (Helsinki, Finland) hosted the ENEN 13th General Assembly Meeting to summarize the ENEN activities performed in 2014 and discuss the coming ones. Among them is the ENEN-Ru-II Project whose kick off Meeting was held in Obninsk and Moscow last September (http://rosatomtech.com/?p=1300). The current status of the Project was briefed in the joint presentation of the ENEN Secretary General Mr. Pedro Dieguez Porras and Vice-Rector of ROSATOM-CICE&T Prof. Vladimir Artisyuk. The Project aims at identifying the common basis for cooperation between EU and Russian E&T organizations. Needless to say that such a borderless issue as safety culture will be in the focus of the Project. For both sides it is of importance to understand specifics of education and training in EU and Russia in order to harmonize training trajectories and programmes and use them in the most efficient way. Of particular interest is the training in WWER technology which is run not only in Russia but in the EU countries as well as measuring the associated competences.
